The accumulation of waste in the green areas is a current problem in our society, this can be seen mostly in the cities but also we can see it in Atlacomulco.

The causes of this problem are the lack of culture of people, because we are not aware of the damage that cause when we throw garbage.

Another cause is the ignorance we have to not know about the subject or when we do not classify the waste into organic and inorganic waste, the overpopulation causes an increase on the waste also include the bad habits we have, such as when we buy products that generate more waste, and we contaminate the green areas.

The principal consequences are infectious diseases for the garbage that we throw, another consequence is the shortage of resources  like water. Moreover the soil erosion is caused for chemicals, the aesthetics of the place cause people throw garbage in those places and the deterioration of ecosystems that generates extinction of animals.

We want to know what people think about this problem, why they contaminate the green areas, any proposal that suggests to solve this issue, in addition we want to know if they are ready to change his style of life and why they use or buy products that generate more waste.

As we can see this is a problem that affects all the people, the possible solutions of this issue are make cleaning campaigns, put garbage in  organic and inorganic cans, put interesting things on the premises, make use of a garbage crusher and give talks with the town hall to the people that going to this place.

Some interesting facts of this issue are…

If we throw trash in green areas, the soil will be degraded.

If the soil is degraded this will not be appropriate for the food cultivation.

If the soil is not appropriate for the food cultivation, we will not have food.

If we do not have food, we will not eat.

If we do not eat, we will die.

Nowadays there are some organizations that protect the green areas in the world , such as :

“Ministerio del medio ambiente” (chile): the scientist apley a measure called standarized vegetation, diference Index , another one is Centro de Mexicano de derecho ambiental this organization is a team oficina lawyers that make reserch  about the environment .

On the another hand the organization of “Espacios Naturales y Desarrollo Sustentable” is in encharge of restoring the spaces that have been damaged and  another is the “Organization mexicana para la conservación del medio ambiente” that makes activities to improve the public politics the creation and difussion of  information.

At the same time we do actions to help to reduce the pollution in the green areas like: we must create a campain with people, if we do not do this we may have not awareness of this issue. However we must not mix the garbage if we do this the soil might degrade, we needn’t cut down the trees, if we do this we could have less oxygen.

On the other hand some recomendations that we have, are the next: we should take care of the green areas but we shouldn’t throw garbage in this, we ought to plant trees however we ought not to be ignorant.

We concluded that we must not pollute the green areas because these are important in our lives, actually we are aware and responsble to avoid pollution performing good actions.
